Business Development Manager |

Responsibilities: |
The Business Development Manager reports directly to the President/CEO. Responsibilities include planning, development, and management of all aspects of marketing, sales and licensing of the novel patented component life enhancement technology and tooling developed by Lambda Technologies. Marketing and sales will be on a business-to-business basis with both commercial corporations and the military. Primary markets are in those industries with applications benefiting from fatigue and stress corrosion cracking failure mitigation, including: aircraft structures and engines, medical implants, nuclear and fossil power plants, ground based steam and gas turbines, and automotive.
Once acclimated to the position, the Business Development Manager will manage a staff responsible for customer relations, advertising, and quotations. The Manager will formulate, recommend, and implement policies and programs in the areas of sales and marketing, including: pricing, advertising, publications, website, trade shows, market research, and related activities. The Manager will prepare and negotiate proposals and licenses, and will be primarily responsible for meeting annual sales growth targets.

Requirements: |
Ten (10) years experience with business development of commercial and/or military aircraft or related industry, including MRO and PMA suppliers is required. An engineering or technical background related to the aircraft or related industry will be helpful. Knowledge of government contracting and military sales will be necessary. Any prior experience in bringing new technologies to the marketplace in the aircraft or related industry will be an advantage.
The applicant must have excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills to support customer contact and negotiations. Strong written communication abilities are needed for preparation of ads, publications, and proposals. Proficiency with MS Office including Power Point presentations is mandatory. Prior experience in some aspect of market research and/or advertising for technical sales is beneficial.

Sales/Marketing Administrator |

Responsibilities: |
Lambda Technologies, which is now commercializing a novel technology which introduces high compressive residual stresses into fatigue limited metallic components seeks a Marketing Administrator to execute and guide a highly professional marketing campaign to make this new technology known throughout the aerospace, automotive, and nuclear industries. Current applications are to improve the fatigue and stress corrosion performance of landing gear, blades and disks of jet engines and helicopter gearing and the like. The potential market for improving the fatigue performance and the life of aging aircraft is literally huge, and this new technology needs to be made known to these industries.
Therefore, Lambda Technologies seeks a Marketing Administrator who will be responsible for executing the marketing plans within the industry regimes identified by the company. Duties will include:
- Creation and writing of marketing materials, often using formal technical papers as a guide to create less technical review articles.
- Trade show material preparation and representation (a few times per year).
- Marketing research to identify potential customers and partner corporations within the target industries.
- General oversight and maintenance of the contacts and leads developed for follow up sales.
- Maintenance of the Corporate Website.
- Issuance of email announcements.
- Press Releases
The Marketing Administrator will answer directly to the Office Manager.
The marketing plans will be developed by the marketing committee, which consists of the CEO, Office Manager and the Marketing Administrator.

Requirements: |
The applicant must have experience and proven facility with website maintenance and modification. Facility with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Dream Weaver is mandatory. Strong English skills required for the preparation of marketing materials and articles for publication and distribution.
Experience in the advertising industry to support decisions in advertising placement and ad creation is highly desirable.

Project Engineer |
Reports to: Project Manager |
Responsibilities: |
Manage the development, planning, and coordination of design and manufacturing implementation projects for the application of the LPB process on specific high value components. Coordinate manufacturing programs with the customers manufacturing and purchasing management to apply Lambda’s Low Plasticity Burnishing (LPB) to mitigate damage in high stressed areas of critical components. Design programs to meet the customers manufacturing requirements, including schedule, cost, throughput, and technical specifications. Negotiate customer requirements and define process-monitoring measurements. Manage design of specific LPB manufacturing processes to meet process capability requirements and continuous improvement plans. Define appropriate manufacturing processes following LPB treatment (inspections, control limits, conformance requirements, non-conformance disposition, process limits and process maintenance requirements).
Position duties include:
- Manage design, testing, and or manufacturing expertise for development of LPB implementation projects on high value components.
- Negotiate and coordinate requirements with customers.
- Create and maintain project plans.
- Define metrics, process control limits, and plans to demonstrate process capabilities.
- Provide timely technical and schedule inputs for status reports, proposals and quotations.
- Manage testing to validate LPB application design.
- Oversight of the implementation of LPB manufacturing process at prototype run-off facilities, production facilities, including customer sites.
- Manage internal and external (customer) projects including scheduling and routing.
- Other engineering and documentation needs of the business as deemed necessary.

Requirements: |
Bachelors Degree (or equivalent related experience) in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering or related field. Experience as a Project Engineer with related customer interactions highly desirable. Experience in automotive, biomedical, aerospace, turbo-machinery, power generation, or nuclear industries is desirable. Experience with system engineering as applied to government/manufacturing funded projects is beneficial. Facility with Solid Works, SURFCAM or ANSYS is highly desirable. Candidates must possess a strong desire to work in a highly dynamic, fast growth environment. All potential candidates must successfully pass a written aptitude test.
